The  LIVE 5th Annual Meeting Program is again outstanding, thanks to the tireless work by the Program Committee and Board of Directors. The Annual Meeting Sessions cover both basic and advanced topics germane to all physicians and practitioners who treat patients in pain.  No matter your specialty, we have sessions for you!   

Please note that your membership dues for 2021-22 are included in your full meeting registration fee.  

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

At the end of this program, participants should be able to:

1.         Employ key diagnostic and treatment techniques for the management of pain.

2.         Identify and administer appropriate safe opioid usage in patients.

3.         Understand and include behavioral analysis in the evaluation of a chronic pain patient.

4.         Identify and resolve issues relating to the law for pain management.

5.         Apply evidenced based strategies to clinical practice for managing complex

            pain patients.

ACCREDITATION 

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Amedco LLC and the Tennessee Pain Society (TPS).  Amedco LLC is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Credit Designation Statement – Live Content - Amedco LLC designates this live virtual activity for a maximum of 16.50 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM for physicians, 16.50 ANCC contact hours for nurses and 16.50 knowledge-based contact hours for pharmacists. Learners should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. The 16.50 live hours cannot also be claimed as enduring hours.

AAPA accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ for the PRA from organizations accredited by ACCME.
 
Nurse Practitioners
The American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) recognizes the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as approved accreditors and allow reciprocity for AANPCP continuing education credit.
 
 

This activity contributes to the CME component of the American Board of Anesthesiology’s redesigned Maintenance of Certification in AnesthesiologyTM (MOCA®) program, known as MOCA 2.0®. Please consult the ABA website, www.theABA.org, for a list of all MOCA 2.0® requirements. Maximum of 16.50 live hours available. Maximum of 16.50 enduring hours available. The 16.50 live hours cannot also be claimed as enduring hours.

You must request your certificate within 30 days of the activity to meet the deadline for submission to PARS.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancelation Policy:  Registration Cancelations, minus a $25 fee will be honored to April 5, 2021,   After April 5, 2021, no cancellations are permitted.  You may however substitute a colleague if you cannot attend or watch it simulcast /enduring. COVID-19 POLICY

Hilton Covid19 Policy:  Hilton’s COVID-19 Response & Policies | Hotels by Hilton.  Cleaning and disinfecting meeting space is ongoing.

Meetings at the Embassy Suites conducted by the Tennessee Pain Society are in conformity with the CDC Guidelines and the Tennessee Department of Health Guidelines.

Meeting registration check-in will be by accessing the meeting APP provided to all registered attendees, exhibitors, volunteers, and staff.

Exhibitors each have a 6-foot tabletop display. One exhibit representative at a booth at a time is encouraged to allow for distancing and visitation by attendees.

Each attendee person will be required to agree to adhere to the policies as stated above and will have his or her temperature checked each day at check-in when they sign in for CME credits. 

  1. Prevention – Masks are mandatory in the Hotel and at the Meeting
  2. Handwashing and Sanitizing is encouraged with sanitizing available at registration and in hotel lobby and venue space.
  3. Avoid Close Contact – maintain a safe distance.  Venue capacities may be limited due to social distancing requirements.
