The 2020 Virtual Meeting Program is again outstanding, thanks to the tireless work by the Program Committee and Board of Directors. The  Sessions cover both basic and advanced topics germane to all physicians and practitioners who work with patients in pain.  No matter your specialty, we have sessions for you!   In these challenging times, we are going VIRTUAL!

Pre-recorded Webinar Workshops launch online October 24, 2020 and are available for CME/CEU's  to January 22, 2021

Please note that  your membership dues for 2020 are included in your fee.  

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

At the end of this program, participants should be able to:

1.         Employ key diagnostic and treatment techniques for the management of pain.

2.         Identify and administer appropriate safe opioid usage in patients.

3.         Understand and include behavioral analysis in the evaluation of a chronic pain patient.

4.         Identify and resolve issues relating to the law for pain management.

5.         Apply evidenced based strategies to clinical practice for managing complex

            pain patients.

ACCREDITATION 

Physicians / Nurses / Pharmacists

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Amedco LLC and the Tennessee Pain Society (TPS).  Amedco LLC is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Credit Designation Statement – Amedco LLC designates the enduring material activity for a maximum of 9.00 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM for physicians, 9.00 ANCC contact hours for nurses and 9.00 knowledge-based CPE contact hours for pharmacists. 

Learners should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activities.

Note to Pharmacists: The only official Statement of Credit is the one you pull from CPE Monitor. You must request your certificate within 30 days of the activity to meet the deadline for submission to CPE Monitor.

American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) MOCA 2.0® Credit

This activity contributes to the CME component of the American Board of Anesthesiology’s redesigned Maintenance of Certification in AnesthesiologyTM (MOCA®) program, known as MOCA 2.0®. Please consult the ABA website, www.theABA.org, for a list of all MOCA 2.0® requirements. Maximum of 9.00 enduring material hours available. You must request your certificate within 30 days of the activity to meet the deadline for submission to PARS.

 

Nurse Practitioners

The American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) recognizes the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as approved accreditors and allow reciprocity for AANPCP continuing education credit. Maximum of 9.00 enduring material hours.

 

Physician Assistants

AAPA accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ for the PRA from organizations accredited by ACCME. Maximum of 9.00 enduring material hours.

Cancelation Policy:  Registration Cancelations, minus a $25 fee will be honored to October 1, 2020.  After October 1, 2020 no cancellations are permitted.  You may however substitute a colleague if you cannot attend.
